Is there a book you can read over and over again?

For us, it is the Bible. Every time we re-read a section, we find new insights, lessons, and values for our lives.

In its own way, security testing is very similar – every time we test, we often find new issues and vulnerabilities.

This happens because the scope might have changed, the environment was modified, new vulnerabilities are reported, our testing process has improved, etc.

This is why PEN Consultants, and most compliance frameworks, encourage regular testing – at least annual security testing, if not more.

It seems like a lot…but like re-reading your favorite book, the return on investment is always worth it.
